Effective Natural Hair Removal Methods
Removal of hair from the body can be tricky. There are various methods to get rid of the hair on the body. Some of the ways to remove hair from the body are basic, while the other ways are quite complicated. Let us understand some of the natural hair removal methods and how well they work.
Green gram and rose water
Add two tablespoons of green gram flour with one-two tablespoons of rose water and add about one tablespoon of lemon juice. One should apply the paste made of these three ingredients every day and leave it for about 20-25 minutes until it dries off completely. The mask can then be rubbed off with fingers. Due to the exfoliating properties of green gram flour, this mixture inhibits the growth of hair. The mixture with rose water allows it to be suitable for the skin.
Lemon, honey, sugar, and cornstarch
Take a cup of sugar, a quarter cup of honey, juice of half a lemon, and some cornstarch. Heat sugar, honey, and lemon together, making sure that you don’t burn the sugar. This process will make a paste out of the ingredients. Dry the part of the skin from where you’d like to remove the hair with a towel and apply some cornstarch. Then, apply the paste to the skin, spread evenly, and pull off with a fabric in the opposite direction. The removal of hair will be absolutely natural and without any side-effects.
Pumice stone
One of the natural hair removal methods involves a pumice stone. The rough texture of the pumice stone helps to get hold of the hair and remove them from the body. You can use a dry pumice stone on a clean skin and move it in a circular motion. The pores pull the hair out of the skin efficiently. The stone may leave the skin dry after the activity, and thus it is suggested to moisturize your skin with a hydrating cream.
Papaya paste
Papaya can render some long-term results without harming the skin. While the results will not be seen overnight, the hair follicles are weakened by papaya because of a special enzyme called papain, which is present in the fruit. Just mash some papaya and mix it with turmeric powder. Apply the paste on the skin and leave it on for about 15 minutes. You can do this two-three times a week to see results in a few weeks.
Baking soda and turmeric
Take one tablespoon of baking soda mixed with one tablespoon of turmeric and make a paste with the help of water. Gently apply on the skin, leave it for about 20 minutes, and then wash it off with water. Turmeric, being an antioxidant, mixed with baking soda, which is a gentle scrubber, works to reduce hair growth.
