3 DIY Moisturizing Face Masks

Glowing and supple skin is always our desire. However, more often than not, it also becomes the goal of our skincare regime. We often tend to forget that these should be the byproducts of a healthy and hydrated skin. So, to make sure that your skin stays hydrated all the time, here are some DIY moisturizing face masks that you can easily try at home.

Honey and banana face mask
To make this mask, the ingredients required will be banana, some fresh orange juice, and organic honey. You can start by mashing one banana in a container. Now take honey, about two tablespoons, and mix it with the mashed banana properly. Add some fresh orange juice, approximately one teaspoon to this mixture. However, this step is optional.

Before you put the mask, make sure that you have washed your face properly using lukewarm water. You can start by massaging the mask gently on your face while covering the entire area. Just so that your can skin be moisturized thoroughly, you should leave the mask on the face for at least 20 minutes. Wash this DIY moisturizing face mask off using lukewarm water and dry your face with a towel.

Potato, honey, and watermelon face mask
Not the usual ingredients you see in a face mask, but they contain some effective properties that can prove to extremely beneficial for the skin. These ingredients contain lots of antioxidants and phytonutrients that give your skin the essential nourishment it deserves.

To make this mask, you will need one potato, two tablespoons of raw honey, and half a slice of watermelon. You can start making the mask by boiling the potato until it becomes soft. You can either mash it or blend using a blender to get a fine consistency. Now, add watermelon and honey and mix the ingredients thoroughly using a blender.

Apply this mask on your face evenly and let it stay for about 20 minutes. Wash it off using lukewarm water.

Essential oils face mask
This is one of the most effective DIY moisturizing face masks that you can use. To make this mask, you will need jojoba oil, raw honey, lavender essential oil, and palmarosa essential oil.

You can start by mixing two tablespoons of honey with one tablespoon of jojoba oil in a bowl. Keep whisking them for about a minute until both the ingredients are combined well. Now, add three drops of both the essentials oils and mix well again.

Apply the mask on your face evenly and let it dry for about 10 to 15 minutes. To remove it, use a warm cloth and gently wipe your face with it. For the best results, you can use this mask two to three times a week.
